Clipping the wires into the spring load hook is the hardest part. Don't forget to scrape off the varnish on the coil wire being relocted to the module or it won't work.

The air vane deflector mount usually needs to be trimmed to clear the module.

After making your solder connection goop them over with silicone to both insulate them and help prevent vibration from loosening the solder work.

As for the unsticking, like Gerry said it often works, I've done many. Don't forget the seizing may have been at the rod/crank journal. Let the finished engine just idle for a half hour or so and then change the oil before putting it to work. This will allow any minor damage to polish/heal over and then changing the oil will get any metal debris removed during this idle time, out of the engine.
