Recently I had a surging problem with my lawnmower and after reading a lot of articles online I came to know I need to clean the carburetor. I bought a carb cleaner from AutoZone and did a through cleaning. After I installed it started and ran fine.
This weekend I bought the carb rebuild kit (because one of the washers was too old and cracked) and changed all the washers and cleaned the carburetor again with the cleaner. Changed the engine oil as well. All this happened on Saturday and when I started the mower nothing happens. I was wondering if it might be a problem with the sparkplug (3 months old) so I changed it to a new one. After installing it again nothing happens when I tried to start. I removed the carburetor again and checked if anything is wrong. From what I see is I assembled everything correctly. And also when I removed the carburetor there was gas inside, so its nothing to do with the flow.
On Sunday I removed everything to check if everything is ok and reinstalled again. It started once after a long struggle (few hrs) and I ran it for 5 mins. After an hour I tried started it again and nothing happens. I tired to prime it but no sign of starting.
Here is the spec
Mower: Murray walk behind self propelled.
Engine: B & S 6.25 HP quantum select. Primer type. Model: 123K02.
Mower has Fresh gas, new sparkplug, Fresh engine oil, new air filter.
I 'm wondering what might be the problem. Can anyone please help me with his problem?
